Welcome to the Reception Class Page

We hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are ready for the year ahead!

We are very excited to be back and are looking forward to learning through play and having fun.

We are so proud of the way you have already settled into school life.

We will be getting our Google Classroom set up shortly as we migrate to HWB. The children will all be given a username and password for you to be able to receive information about the class as well as being able to access homework activities.

Please be aware that child absences still need to be reported to the school office and not to a class teacher. 

Polite Reminders 

* PE days are Tuesday and Thursday, please ensure you wear your PE kits to school on these days. Please can we ask that you label ALL of your child's uniform, drinks bottles and PE kit.

Our Google Classroom 
 

Please find below a guide to help navigate you around the platform. 

Using Google classroom is very easy and can be accessed
through most devices that can connect to the internet such as PCs, mac books,
tablets and mobile phones. If using a phone or tablet the Google classroom app
will need to be downloaded from the store (this is a free app). If using a PC
or mac book it can be accessed from simply opening a web browser such as
internet explorer, chrome or safari and loading up the google home page. 

The learning platform will be used for homework and communication from class teachers so please can we ask that you check it regularly. 

If you have any questions/queries please ask, we appreciate that this will be new for many parents.
