Welcome to the Year 3 Class Page

We hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are ready for the year ahead! We are very excited to be back and are looking forward to a fun filled year ahead of us. You have already begun to settle into the daily life of a Year 3 pupil. We will very quickly be settling back into school routines and focussing on key skills (reading, spellings and times tables), as well as beginning a variety of interesting topics and themes.  

We will be getting our Google Classroom set up shortly as we migrate to HWB - please visit daily to find key information, spellings/tables and homework tasks.

Please be aware that child absences still need to be reported to the school office and not to a class teacher. 

Polite Reminders 

* PE days are Monday and Friday, please ensure you wear your PE kits to school on these days.

* Reading Books - please encourage your child to read every day for at least 10 minutes. Children are expected to bring their reading books and records in every day. Tests to be administered once the book is finished and new books will be provided. 

* Uniform - please ensure all your child's uniform is labelled with their full name. 

*Healthy snacks - please can you encourage your child to bring in a healthy snack  and water for morning break times e.g. fruit, veg sticks.
